NEEDED
Porikadalai powdered / chutney dal ( coarsely powdered) - 2 cups
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Grated ginger little or ginger powder
Salt
Finely chopped cabbage or onion - 3/4 cup
Chilly powder
Hing
Turmeric powder
Water as required
Oil for frying
METHOD
Porikadalai powdered / chutney dal ( coarsely powdered) - 2 cups

METHOD
- in a bowl add porikadalai powder, rice flour , ginger , salt , cabbage , chilly powder , hing , turmeric powder.
- sprinkle water and gently mix this to a stiff dough.
- heat oil in a pan , keep on a medium flame .
- drop the dough little by little ,( medium , uneven balls)
- fry till golden brown .
- serve hot pakodas .
