DRY PEAS SUBZI

needed:
dry white peas - 1 cup - soak overnight
turmeric powder/ haldi
asafoetida/ hing
chilly powder- 2 tsp
garam masala powder- 1tsp
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1tsp fresh cream or malai/ paal adai

to grind to a paste :
2 tomato
1tsp daniya
1 tsp jeera
ginger small piece
1/2 tsp white til

mtd:
pressure cook the peas till soft . leave 5-10 whistle.
in a pan add 1- 2 tbsp oil & add the ground paste.
add hing , haldi , chilly powder  & fry till the color changes.
now add the cooked peas with stock.
add salt, masala powder & 1/2 tsp sugar.
bring it to a boil , add fresh cream & remove .
good with roti, fried rice....
