GULKAND BURFI


makes : 50 pieces
needed:
 1/4 cup almond or cashewnut- coarsely ground
1 1/2 cup makhana/lotus seeds-roast in 1 tdsp ghee & powder ( u will get 1 cup makhana powder)
fresh mawa - 500 gms
2 cups sugar + 1 -11/2 cup water - for syrup
rose essence - 1/2 tsp
ajanta rashberry red color - a pinch
gulkand - 1 cup
ghee - 2 tbsp

method:
 make sugar syrup - 1 string .
add color , essence, gulkand & stir .
then add almond powder , makhana powder & mawa .
add ghee little by little & stir constant till u get the desired consistency.
spread in a greased plate & put pieces .
