MAKANA KHEER



needed:
milk - 1 lr
sugar - 1/4 cup
saffron- pinch
makhana/ lotus seeds - 12-15
cashewnut/ kaju- roasted
method:
in a thick bottom pan , add 1tsp ghee and  roast makhana for 2 min . remove, and roast kaju .
keep aside both makhana and  kaju .
in the same pan pour 1 lr milk , keep in medium flame.
(stir and  reduce flame when it comes to pour out.)
after 10 min when it starts reducing , add sugar .
it will boil and when reduced to half , add makhana .
after 5 min remove and add kaju , saffron .
cool and  serve.
