MASOOR DAL PAKODA

Needed:

whole or slit masoor dal - 1 cup
green chilli - 3
small piece ginger
1tsp saunf/ sombu
coconut - 2 sp - finely chopped
corriander - chopped
curry leaves - chopped
salt

Method:

  • soak masoor for 2 hrs.
  • then grind coarsely masoor , green chilly , ginger , saunf without adding water.
  • now to this add rest of the ingredients and mix well .
  • Heat the oil and add teaspoons of batter into the oil, fry till light brown.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • It's really a great snack that goes with hot tea or coffee.
