VERMICELLI KHEER / SEMIYA PAYASAM

Ingredients :
Semiya/Vermicelli - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 lr
Condensed milk - 1/2 tin( to ur taste)
Ghee - 2 tsp
saffron - a pinch
almond, roasted Cashew and raisins to garnish
Cardomom powder/Elaichi - a pinch

Procedure:
 Add ghee in a thick bottomed pan.
Add the semiya(if not already roasted) and roast for 2 minutes .
Pour the milk in the semiya pan .
when the milk comes to pour out , reduce the flame and stir occasionally.
cook till the milk reduces to 1/2 & the semiya is cooked.
now add the condensed milk, saffron and mix well.
Garnish with cashew and raisins.
Serve hot or cold.
