KANJI MAVU/ SATHU MAVU HALWA

NEEDED:

kanji/sathu mavu- 1 cup
sugar - 2 1/2 -3 cups
water -3 cups
ghee - 1 tb sp
nuts-kaju ,kismis , almond any(roast in ghee & keep aside)

METHOD:
  • In a thick bottomed pan add ghee and  slightly roast the mavu.
  • add water and  cook for few min.
  • then add sugar and  stir till it thickns and  leaves ghee in sides. remove.
  • no need to add food color.
