MILK HALWA



NEEDED:

thick milk- 1 lr
sugar - 3 tbsp
citric acid -2-3 pinch
ghee- 1 1/2 tbsp
fine rawa- 1tbsp
cashewnut

METHOD:
  • first roast cashew and  rawa in ghee and  keep aside.
  • boil milk in a broad heavy kadai tillit reduces to 3/4 of its consistency.
  • add sugar and cook for few min.
  • add citric acid to break the milk and  keep stirring for few min.
  • add the roasted cashew and  rawa  to the halwa.
  • cook till moisture evaporates.
  • add little ghee if necessary.
  • when halwa consistency is reached ,remove.
