PUDINA COCONUT CHUTNEY



NEEDED:

pudina - 1 handful
Grated Coconut- little
2 tsp oil
Mustard 1/2tsp
urad dal - 1 tbsp
Tamarind  little
Hing
Salt

METHOD
  • In a wok add 1 tsp oil and fry the pudina. 
  • It will shrink, Remove and keep aside.
  • Then again add 2 tsp oil and add urad dal,  tamarind,   chilly,  hing. 
  • Fry till golden and at last add the coconut , fry for a minute and remove.
  • Add salt and keep aside .
  • In a mixer grind pudina, coconut,  red chilly, hing, tamarind  to a paste adding water as required.  
  • Then add the urad dal and turn slightly for a second. 
  • Transfer the chutney to the bowl . Temper mustard in 1 tsp oil  and add  to the chutney,  mix well and serve with idly , dosa......
