CREAMY CORN SUBJI




NEEDED
Sweetcorn-  1 cup ( pressure cook and drain the water)
Chilly powder
Salt
Turmeric powder
Garam masala powder
1/ 2 tsp sugar
Milk - 1/2 cup
2 tsp oil,  jeera for tempering.

TO GRIND
take 3/4 cup of the boiled corn
1 tomato
Ginger- small piece( gives nice flavour)
2 Cashewnut ( opt)
Little water to grind
Grind all this to a paste.

METHOD
  • In a pan add 3 tsp oil and temper jeera  .
  • Then add this corn paste and cook for few minutes.
  • Add  turmeric powder,  salt , chilly powder,  garam masala .
  • Add very little water, mix well and cook , so that it doesnt stick to the bottom.
  • Add the remaining cooked corn.
  • Add 1/2 tsp sugar.
  • At last add milk , mix well .
  • cook on a medium flame and remove.
  • Garnish with corriander.
  • Tastes good with roti...
NOTE
can add little fresh cream  at last.
Add boiled milk , so that u need not cook for a long time. ( milk will not curble if done like this)
