DAHI VADA / THAYIR VADAI

NEEDED
FOR VADA

1 cup - urad dal
Green chilly
Curry leaves
salt

METHOD
  • soak the urad dal for an hour.
  • Then wash twice or thrice the urad dal.
  • then drain the water , add curry leaves,  green chilly,  salt .
  • grind adding water as required.
  • ( u may require very little water for grinding)
  • then transfer it to the bowl.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Keep in medium flame,  check for heat .
  • drop 3 or 4 at a time, and fry till golden brown.
  • ( I made it like small balls)

FOR CURD
Thick curd- 1/2 lr
little chilly powder
Little salt

Beat the curd , add salt , chilly powder. Mix well and keep aside.
Now drop the hot vadas in this curd mixture.
Keep aside. Or u can also refrierate.

Then while serving , sprinkle chat masala, kala namak,  pepper powder,  finely chopped corriander,   above the vada .
