KAMALA Orange PICKLE


NEEDED
kamala orange skin - 1 cup
( scrap the inner whites slightly, add roughly cut to medium size pieces.)
Tamarind water - 1 cup
Hing
Turmeric powder
Chilly powder
Salt
1 tsp channa dal
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp mustard
jaggery (lemon size)  r add to ur taste
Til oil (as required)

METHOD.
Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil,  temper mustard, urad dal, channa dal.
Add the orange skin and fry for 2 min.
Add the tamarind water, chilly powder, hing, turmeric, salt.
Cook for few minutes,  till it slightly thickens.
Add  jaggery.
Remove and allow it cool.
Then store in a airtight container.
Good with curd rice,  roti......
