ALOO BREAD TIKKI




INGREDIENTS

1 big potato/aloo- boiled- peel skin
2-3 bread slices
1-2 medium sized green chilly -finely chopped
small piece ginger -grated or finely chopped
corriander chopped
turmeric powder /haldi- 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
1/2 tsp garam masala powder- optional
1 small carrot - grated

METHOD
  • 1. Mash the potatoes & keep aside .
  • 2.Keep a plate ready with water.
  • 3.Take 1 bread slice & dip in water.
  • 4.Squeeze out the water immediately,& add to the potatoes.
  • 5.Do the same with the other slices also.
  • 6.Now mix potato ,bread, haldi, salt, carrot, garam masala,ginger,corriander,
  • ( g. chilly i didnt add directly- in 1tsp oil temper 1/2 tsp jeera,with g.chilly& then add 2 this).
  • 7.With this mixture make small balls & then flatten it.
  • 8.Shallow fry in a hot tava applying little oil
  • 9.Serve with Ketchup.
