Ingredients:
Potato - 2 , remove skin and (boil, and cut into cubes)
channa dal/Bengal gram - 2 tbsp( pressure cook along with aloo)
1 onion - roughly chopped ( optional)
green chily- 2
Cumin seeds/jeera- 1 tsp
Saunf / fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Ginger- a small piece(peeled)
Garlic: 2 - 3 cloves
Tej pattha - 1
Oil: 2 tsp
Salt to taste
method:
1. Grind green chilly, jeera, saunf, ginger and garlic .
2. In a pan/kadai, heat oil and add tej pattha. add onion & fry till light brown.
Simmer and add the ground mixture.
3. Saute for 3 minutes and add the boiled potatoes , channa dal with stock .
4. add salt and stir well.
5. cook for 5 - 7 min and remove .
6. serve garnished with corriander.
