MAIDA HALWA

NEEDED:

maida- 1 cup
ghee - 1/2 cup
sugar - 3 1/4 cup
half lemon
kesari color- pinch

METHOD:
  • pour 2 cups water in maida and  keep aside for 1/2 hr.
  • maida will remain in the bottom and  water above. drain the water.
  • take a thick bottomed pan and  make sugar syrup- 1 string consistency.
  • squeeze the lemon to the sugar syrup.
  • then add maida, color and  stir.
  • add ghee little by little and  stir constant. ( it will leave ghee in sides)
  • grease a plate and  spread this . after 5 min put pieces.
