This is a maharastrian chutney which tastes good with roti.
NEEDED:
raw tomato/ green tomato - 3 - chopped
green chilly - 4-5
white til - 2-3 tsp
mustard - 1tsp , 2 tsp oil
jeera - 1 1/2 tsp
asafoetida/ hing
salt
jaggery - 1/2 the lemon size
METHOD:
- temper mustard, jeera , til in 2tsp oil ,when it cracks add green chilly and tomatoes.
- add hing , salt and fry for 5 min . ( tomato shd become soft)
- remove and allow it to cool .
- add jaggery to this add grind to a smooth paste.
