MANGO BURFI











Needed:
 1 cup gram flour / besan
little ghee ( 1 tbsp approx)
fresh mawa - 250 gms
mango pulp - 1 1/2 cup
sugar - 1 1/2 to 2 cups ( deponds on the sweetness of the mango)

method:

  •  roast besan in 1 tsp ghee( 1 min) , till color slightly changes.keep aside.
  • in a thick bottomed pan make sugar ( 1 string).
  • add besan , stir constant without lumps.
  • add mango pulp and  then mawa.
  • add 2 tsp ghee and stir constant till done.
  • spread in a greased plate and put pieces after 10 min.


note:
 for thickining can even add cashew powder , makhana powder( roast and  powder makhana), or arrow root powder.
this burfi will be very soft. if pieces not coming , make small balls and slightly flatten it.
