VANILLA BURFI

needed:
 1 cup besan / gram flour/ kadalai mavu
2- 2 1/2 cups Sugar
1 cup Ghee
2 cups milk
cardamam / elachi powder-( optional )
1/2 - 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

mtd:
 Dry roast besan for about 3-4 mins.
Add half of the Ghee to the besan & mix well until it forms a paste.
In another pan, add Sugar & milk.
cook till the sugar gets completely dissolved.
Add the besan paste to the sugar mix & add vanilla essence.
keep stirring until it thickens & starts leaving the sides of the pan. In between keep adding Ghee little by little.
Spread the mixture on a greased plate.
cool & Cut into desired shape or roll out to a small ball.
garnish with kaju , almond.
