HEALTH DRINK / KANJI (1)







NEEDED:
  1. Bajra/ Kamdu 1/2 kg
  2. Ragi 1/2 kg
  3. 1/4 kg dry yellow corn
  4. 100 gms almond
  5. Elachi 10 
  6. White corn 1/4 kg (opt)
  7. Wheat 1/2 kg
  8. Chutney dal 1/2 kg
  9. Brown  rice  1/4 kg
  10. Yellow moong 1/4 kg
Dry roast each item seperately  & spread in a paper. Allow it to cool.
Should grind to a fine powder. ( grinding in a nearest machine preferable.)then store the powder in a plastic jar.

METHOD:
  • In a pan add 1 cup water & 2 tsp of this powder. Mix well without lumps & keep in flame.
  • Stir constant . Will thicken soon  to a sticky pouring  consistency. 
  • Add 1 cup milk & sugar. 
  • Mix well & serve.
  • This serves 2 person .


Note: can add jaggery instead of sugar.
(Jaggery contains calcium. )
