NEEDED:
cauliflower / gobi
1 big onion - chopped
salt
chilly powder
dhanajeera powder
haldi / turmeric powder
whisked yogurt / curd - 1/4 cup
kasuri methi - a pinch - crushed
fresh cream.
1/2 tsp sugar (opt)
oil 3 tsp ,1 bay leaf , jeera - for seasoning
TO GRIND:
1 big tomato
little ginger
garlic flakes - 3
cashewnut - 6
grind to a smooth paste adding water as req.
METHOD:
- rinse well the gobi and put the gobi in the boiling water.
- add little salt and par cook the flower .
- drain the water and keep aside.
- take a pan , heat oil. add the bay leaf, jeera.
- add the onion and fry till light brown .
- then add the ground tomato kaju paste.
- add haldi, chilly powder, salt, dhanajeera powder.
- cook till oil seperates, now lower the flame and add curd, stir well.
- add water as req (1/2 cup).add 1/2 tsp sugar.
- mix well , add the gobi.
- close the lid and cook for few min . keep checking at intervals.
- at last add the crushed kasurimethi, fresh cream.
- mix well and remove.
- good with roti,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
