IDLY BAJJI


NEEDED
idly batter
pudina chutney
bajji batter

FOR BAJII  BATTER 
gram flour / besan - 1 cup
hing
turmeric powder
chilly powder
salt
water as req .

  • take a bowl and put all the above said ingredients .
  • add water little by little , mix well to a thick batter consistency.
FOR PUDINA CHUTNEY 
mint leaves / pudina - 1 handful 
red chilly 3 
tamarind 
hing 
salt 
  • 1 tsp oil . 1/4 tsp mustard , 1 tbsp urad dal .
  • in a wok add oil and temper mustard , urad dal, red chilly, tamarind  . 
  • then add the pudina and fry for 2 min . 
  • remove , add salt and hing . 
  • allow it to cool and grind adding water as required.
METHOD 
  • take an idly and cut to four pieces  or  u can make mini idlies .
  • then dip the mini idly in the bajii batter . 
  • then deep fry the idlies. 
  • serve hot with pudina chutney .
