ANJEER DATES ROLL (sugar free)


NEEDED
anjeer - 1 cup
Black dates - 1 cuo ( seesless)
Ghee - 1 tbsp r little more
Roasted Cashewnut , almond - finely chopped

METHOD

  • Dry roast  1 tsp poppy seeds , remove spread in a plate and keep aside.
  • soak the dried anjeer in hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Then dainthe the water.
  • grind anjeer and dates without adding water. (Need not be smooth)
  • In a kadai add 2 tso ghee and add the dates anjeer paste , add the nuts and ghee and cook on low flame for 2 min.
  • ( c it doesnt stick to the bottom.  )
  • Remove and allow it to cool .
  • Then shape this anjeer mixture to cylinders.
  • then roll this on the roasted poppy seeds.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hrs or till it hardens.
  • then remove and cut to round pieces.
