Ingredients:
1 cup sabudana(sago) / javarece ( this sago is pure white in color)
1 cup sabudana(sago) / javarece ( this sago is pure white in color)
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 Green Chillies chopped finely
1/2 cup groundnuts powdered (coarse)
1 big potato -finely chopped
2 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seed/jeera
1 Pinch Hing (asafoetida)
1 tbsp grated fresh Coconut
Salt to taste
Few Coriander leaves
Few Curry Leaves
Method:
- Wash and soak sabudana in water just enough to loosen and keep for minimum 4 hrs.
- if u press & see it should be soft.
- mix groundnut powder,sugar and salt and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
- When the mustard crackle add cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves.
- Add potatoes , a pinch hing and stir well.
- cook till the potatoes are soft.
- Mix sabudana mixture and mix gently.
- stir for 5 min & remove.
- squeeze 1tsp lemon juice & mix well.
- serve hot garnished with grated coconut coriander leaves.
