SNAKE GAURD THUVIYAL


NEEDED:
snake gourd-  chopped - 1 cup
urad dal -1 or  2 tbsp
red chilly
tamarind - little
hing
salt

METHOD :
  • in a kadai, add 2 tsp oil , fry the the snake gourd to light brown .
  • remove add keep aside .
  • in the same kadai add 1 tsp oil , add urad dal , red chilly , hing, tamarind  and roast till golden .
  • remove add allow it to cool .
  • then add salt and grind the snake gourd  and urad dal . (add water as req . )
  • good with curd rice , idly , dosa...........
NOTE :
make it little spicy .
