MILK DATES BURFI



NEEDED:
dates - 20 - discard the seeds
1/2 to 1 cup milk - as req to grind dates
condensed milk - 200 ml
milk powder - 2 cups
almond , pista ( powdered )- 1/2 cup
ghee - 2 tbsp
bournvita  - 3 tsp ( can also use coco powder)
powdered sugar - 3/4 cup (adjust accordingly)
kismis - little (2 tbsp)

METHOD

  • 1st grind the dates adding milk as required.
  • take a thick bottom pan , add  condensed milk , milkpowder, pista almond powder, dates paste and the remaining milk . 
  • mix well without any lumps  and then keep it on flame .
  • keep on a medium flame and stir constant adding ghee . 
  • add bournvita and sugar powder .
  • mix well , stir constant till u get the burfi consistency .
  • (this will thicken very fast )
  • grease a plate  and spread this evenly adding litle ghee.
  • allow it to cool and put pieces or make balls and arrange in paper cups.
  • (this burfi will  be very soft )
