CORN BURFI





NEEDED
Sweet corn - 1 cup  - wash and grind adding little milk as required.
khoya / mawa - 1/2 cup
milk powder - 1/4 cup
ghee - 3 tsp
sugar - 3/4 cup
vanilla essence - 2 drops
food color yellow

METHOD

  • In pan add the mawa and fry for 2 min. this is to soften it .
  • remove and keep aside.
  • then in the same pan , pour little water and add sugar.
  • make sugar syrup .
  • then add the corn paste .
  • cook for few minutes till the raw smell goes .
  • add ghee .
  • add mawa and milk powder .
  • mix well , add essence and color .
  • keep stirring till thick and u get the burfi consistency .
  • remove and  spread in a greased plate. 
  • allow to set and then put pieces.
