ABOUT ME

Hi all,
A warm welcome to all the fellow bloggers and foodies who have been a source of inspiration for my journey in the blogging world.
I ramya gokul, born in a traditional south indian family always had a passion for cooking but for some or the other reason restricted myself to the traditional cooking receipes until my marriage. Post marriage , on constant encouragement by my MIL I was exposed to /had an opportunity to try out receipes outside the south indian domain and started experimenting.
At this juncture,  my mentor, my younger sister charanya sparked off this idea of starting a blog. The credit for the visual appeal of my blog site" Ramyas world" goes to my sister.
I have also started utilising my limited  knowledge of photography and am continously learning to improve my culinary and photography skills.

As far as possible,  I have taken care to ensure that the receipes/ photographs posted on my blog reflects my own experiments and have not tried to imitate others.
Last but not least, I am open to suggestions/ criticism and invite my fellow bloggers/ foodies to share their thoughts / views..
