SUKKU MALLI COFFEE


NEEDED
FOR MAKING SUKKU MALLI POWDER
dried ginger powder / sukku powder  - 1/2 cup
corriander seeds / dhaniya - 1/4 cup
pepper - 1/2  tsp
jeera - 1/2 tsp

FOR MAKING SUKKU COFFEE
water  - 2 cups
sukku powder - 2 tsp
jaggery - 1 - 1  1/2 tsp

METHOD

  • Dry roast dhaniya and remove .
  • then roast pepper , jeera  till nice aroma comes .
  • remove 
  • now powder dhaniya , pepper, jeera  .
  • add sukku powder to this and mix well.
  • (sieve it to avoid any dust , if u want)
  • store it in an air tight container .



  • boil water and add this sukku malli  powder .
  • add jaggery and mix well.
  • allow it to boil for 2 min.
  • strain through a metal strainer.serve hot .


NOTE
palm sugar (karupatti) is  generally used in sukku coffee.
if it is too  spicy , add little less sukku powder next time.
