CHOLE BHATURE



NEEDED:

FOR BHATURA:

1 cup  - maida
salt
water as req
a pinch soda
curd - 3 tsp
little oil  ( 1 tbsp)
mashed  potato -little (opt)
combine all the above said items in a bowl & make a soft & stiff dough .
close it with a wet cloth  and keep aside for an hour.
 then make puris.
 

FOR CHOLE:
kabuli  channa - 1 cup --  soak over night
potato - 2 - peel skin and cut to 4 pieces
chole masala - 1 1/2 tsp
hing
haldi
ajwain - 1/2 tsp
tamarind paste - 1 tsp
1/2 tbsp oil, jeera - for tempering

To grind:
2 tomato
1 tsp jeera
1tsp dhaniya
ginger
onion 1, garlic 3 flakes
red chilly

METHOD:
  • add ajwain to channa & pressure cook channa & aloo . leave 4- 5 whistle.
  • temper  jeera  & add the ground paste. add , tamarind paste,   salt,  hing, haldi , chole masala.
  • cook till the oil seperates. then add the  aloo , channa  with water. add 1 tsp sugar .
  • cook for few min & remove .
  • garnish with corriander.
