Ingredients:
1. red pumpkin - diced - 1 cup
2. channa dal /kadala parupu- 1 tbsp- soak for 1/2 hr
3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder/ haldi
4. 1/2 tsp asafoetida /hing
5. salt 2 taste
To roast & grind to a paste:
1. 1tsp oil
2. 2-3 tsp white til
3. 1/2 tsp pepper
4. 2 red chilly
5. 1sp jeera
6. lastly add 2 tbsp coconut
water as required
method:
1. temper mustard ,and add the channa dal, with 2 cups of water.
2. close the lid and cook till soft.( u can press & c)
3. then add the pumpkin and cook for another 5 min .
4. add the ground paste, hing , haldi, salt , 1/2 tsp sugar and curry leaves.
5. bring it to a boil and remove.
