Ingredients
1 3/4 cups boiled mixed vegetables
2 to 3 tbsp chopped capsicum
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 green chilli, finely chopped
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1 tsp levelled, cornflour
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 tbsp ghee
salt to taste
To be ground into a paste3 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
12 mm. piece ginger (adrak)
Method
- You can take cauliflower, carrots, green peas, baby corn as mixed vegetables.
- Heat the ghee and fry the onion for 1 minute.
- Mix the paste in 2 tablespoons of water and add along with the turmeric powder. Cook until the onions are soft.
- Add the boiled vegetables, capsicum, green chilli, milk, sugar, cinnamon powder and salt.
- Mix the cornflour with 3 tablespoons of water and add to the mixture. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle coriander on top and serve hot.
