NEEDED:
Mini idly - 10
Moong dal 1/2 cup
Veg -capsicum, carrot, pumpkin. ........
1 tomato
Hing
Haldi
Tamarind water 1 cup
Salt
1tsp sambar powder
Very small piece jaggery
Curry leaves , corriander
2 tsp oil, mustard
METHOD:
For Sambar:
- Pressure cook moong dal along with the vegetables. Keep aside.
- In a wok temper mustard.
- Add tomato. Fry for a minute & add the cooked dal , vegetables. Add tamarind water , haldi ,
- Hing , salt .
- Add the jaggery & cook till it comes to a boil.
- Add curry leaves &remove.
- Add the idly in the sambar..
