SAMBAR IDLY


NEEDED:

Mini idly - 10
Moong dal 1/2 cup
Veg -capsicum, carrot, pumpkin. ........
1 tomato
Hing
Haldi
Tamarind water 1 cup
Salt
1tsp  sambar powder
Very small piece jaggery
Curry leaves , corriander
2 tsp oil, mustard

METHOD:

For Sambar:

  • Pressure  cook moong dal along with the vegetables. Keep aside.
  • In a wok temper mustard.
  • Add tomato. Fry for a minute & add the cooked dal , vegetables. Add tamarind water , haldi ,
  • Hing , salt .
  • Add the jaggery & cook till it comes to a boil.
  • Add curry leaves &remove.
  • Add the idly in the sambar..
