WHITE BURFI




NEEDED :          72 pieces

milk powder- 5 cups
Sugar - 3 cups
Dessicated coconut/ coconut powder - 200 gms
Butter - 225 gms
Majaj - for garnishing

METHOD
  • Take a thick bottom pan and add sugar, 1/2 cup water. 
  • Stir till it dissolves and sticky consistency. (If u drown in water ,it should not dissolve)
  • Then add butter,  ( melts fully) add milk powder.  
  • Stir constant , so that no lumps form .
  • At last add the dessicated coconut. 
  • Stir till  its thick ( on a medium flame) and u get the burfi consistency.  
  • Remove and spread in a greased plate. 
  • Sprinkle some majaj on top , put pieces.
