OATS ADAI



NEEDED
1 cup - oats
1/2 cup - toovar dal
1/2 cup - channa dal
Red chilly or green chilly
Small piece ginger
5 -6 curry leaves
Hing
Salt

METHOD
soak the dal tog in water for an hr .
Then wash and drain the water.
Add oats , ginger, chilly, and 1/2  the dal and grind 1st.
Then add the remaining dal and grind to a coarse paste, adding water as required.
Add salt , hing and mix well to a batter.
Spread a laddle full of batter in a tawa.
Add little oil and cook on both sides.

NOTE
Can add onion or drumstick leaves  to the adai .
Instead of rice , oats is used .so the adai is very soft.
