TIL BESAN BURFI


NEEDED
Polished white til / ellu - 3/4 cup (slightly dry roast and keep aside)
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Besan / gram flour/ kadalaimavu - 1 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 1/4 cup
Mawa - 200 gms/ 1 cup
Elachi powder - 1/2 tsp
Chopped nuts - little - for garnishing

METHOD
In  a mixer , slightly turn the til to a coarse powder. Keep aside.
Take a non-stick pan .
Add the ghee, add the besan and roast on a medium flame.
The colour will slightly change and nice aroma will come.
Now add the mawa ( crumbled) and keep stirring.
(Cook till both get mix  well. It will take 10 min )
Add the sugar powder.
keep stirring on a medium flame.
It will nicely mix with the mawa besan mixute.
Atlast add the powdered til , elachi powder ,mix well . Keep in low flame.
Grease a plate with little ghee and keep it ready.
Now spread evenly the above til mixute in the plate.
Garnish with chopped nuts on top .
Allow it to set.(it will take 1 hr to set.
Then put pieces.
