RIB GUARD SKIN VADA


This is a very tasty and interesting recipe using the leftover of the rib gourd ( ribgourd skin)
Generally the rib gourd skin is used in the south Indian household for making chutney.
This is an unusual receipe which would be liked by the tiny tots in every household.

Needed
 toovar dal - 1cup
urad dal -1/2 cup
(soak both the dal separately for 1 hr )
rib gourd skin- 1 cup - grind coarsely
onion - 1 finely chopped
red chilly -2 -3
white til 1 tbsp
curry leaves
salt to taste

Method:

  • Coarsely grind tur dal and urad dal, red chilli without adding water.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and add the rig gourd (ground).onion,salt,til and curry leaves
  • Mix well and make vada
