NEEDED:
Brinjal 3 If big
2tsp oil
Urad dal - 3tsp
Mustard- 1/2 tsp
Red chilly
Salt
Tamarind - small piece
Hing
METHOD:
- grease a brinjal with little oil and cook over an open flame, till it is soft.
- The brinjal skin will become black in color.
- Remove and drop inside a bowl of water.
- Cool ,peel the skin and keep aside.
- Then temper mustard in 2 tsp oil and add red chilly, urad dal , hing .
- At last add tamarind and remove.
- Add salt and allow it to cool .
- Then grind this adding the cooked brinjal.
- Add water if required.
- ( do not grind to smooth.)
NOTE
Add the urad dal at last and grind slightly .
